Project overview

The client’s requirements were clear – to make the website as user friendly as possible, with the best possible display of her work portfolio. And optimize the website for Google search. We used the WordPress platform with a simple page builder for easy content administration and adding galleries allowing the client to easily change the content on the website herself. To speed up thewebsite loading time, we implemented all the icons and the logo in the svg format to the front end. It did not end there – all the content was optimized for speed and we also used special cache modules during development. By optimizing speed, copy-writing, and implementing backlinks, we managed for the website to rank on top of the Google search results for the keywords „make-up artist“, „wedding makeup“, and other keywords related to the client’s services.

Special mobile version

As the traffic of the website from mobile devices in this segment of services makes up to 80% – 90%, a special mobile version was more than needed. The mobile version not only involved layout modifications – special page layouts on a mobile device, but even a special mobile menu was designed, so that individual services and galleries were as easily accessible as possible.
